Sound of Money

The investment industry, gambling in a scuba suit Interest rate risk, like blowing through a paper flute Affairs of accounts, replacements for a lonely heart Billionaire bankers, glean you as financial art Subordinated debt, you’re an asset that can bond Dow Jones Average, you’re a mean of illusions spawned Vested venture risk, your dead poet’s society Commercial competition, source of your anxiety Free market futures, to soften your resistance Reinvested capital gains, to edit your existence Economic recession, when money goes on a diet Capital gains taxes, when robbery is the riot Asset allocation, a future of cherry picking Bear market declines, the sound of money ticking
