Souls
The frogs leap across lily pads.
Splash! The water flicks up.
Despite the obstacle, they carry on.
Lions roar as the prey whimpers.
Scratch! Ripped to shreds like nothing.
Yet the pride continue hunts.
Soaring in the sky, swooping down.
Swoosh! Magpies dive down fiercely.
Not a single ounce of fear.
Fish paddling on by the coral.
Splosh! Swimming on and on.
Careless of the dangers ahead.
Howling in the middle of night.
Scram! The wolves yell out loudly.
Confident in the pack and themselves.
Fluttering softly, butterflies travelling.
Sweep! Caught inside the net.
But freed sooner or later.
Humans juggling struggles daily.
Seriously! Not again, once again.
We can leap across the obstacles too.
