Sonnet Ii

The sunup peeping through the silhouette of leaves Of sturdy trees that spread their branches open wide Awakes the butterfly on still leaf that believes In tiny chances wind will blow and feet will stride Toward the mountain's peak where spires sprightly sway As clouds in heaven turns the blue sky into gray. The sunup climbs the skies as do the stars at night The leaves, the roses point their petals to the prime And vapors, too, do cleave and find their place in right Direction followed by the bubbles in the brine. Success and dreams, though seemingly too far apart Will meet in time and place inside the human heart When all the nature's winds and butterflies will go The same high mountains feet will walk with heads bow'd low
