Sonnet I

I’ve watched TV so long it’s broke my brain. Arising from my chair I pace the room. There’s nothing here to bind my mind in place. No music here to break my silent state. I wander to my study filled with crap. I wonder if my muse might be out back. So wandering my garden dead and dour a cheeky little bird begins to sing. Now visions of the flowers turn my head. A dabble of the sunlight spins a spell and I begin to take a different view. Returning to the study filled with trash. I set myself to clear each box with care.
