Sometimes He Does
Sometimes He does
calm the storm,
when the bees buzz
surrounding me,
engulfing me mercilessly.
Sometimes He chooses
not to, letting it all rage!
Then He calms the storm
brewing inside me instead
and life turns a new page.
I never know just what He'll do;
he's not predictable like you.
Just when I'm sure He'll
show His stuff, if I've had enough,
He tells me just what to do
so that I make it through
unscathed, though I'll admit
I doubted it
when the storm began
I sure didn't say, "I can!"
But more often than not
the bees make a whole lot
of honey for me to eat
making life a real treat.
SKB, realizing that life isn't a perfect rhyme, even though it's good.
John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In
this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the
world."
