Something Similar to a Poem My goal is to write 1,500 poems before our cruise in October on Holland America. This will put me firmly into 20th place regarding all time poetry producers which is out of over 30,000 others poets. Not bad if I don't say so myself. That puts me at one our of every 7,500 poets. I am very thankful for someone paying for my annual membership to Poetry Soup. It just seems like the top 20 should receive a free lifetime Premium Membership as far as I am concerned being a retired veteran and all. How I love getting up in the morning and according to latest scope going to Poetry Soup now that I am finally in their loop and here around can now snoop. Sounds like the start of a great new song, don't you think? All of this might not be exactly a poem but intended for it to sound like one.
