Something Blue
Passion progresses through thoughts of your cerulean eyes
Your name brushes like silk wind through my sapphire skies
Echoes distant across aegean waters burn flames of desire
Striking with the force of midnight lightning blazing my fire
The tickle of your periwinkle tipped fingers charges me up
Fierce as rains from cobalt clouds that never seem to letup
I fall adrift with azure bliss when your lullaby kiss summons
Soft as a baby's cinnamon teddy with cornflower buttons
And today I feel forever royal as we borrow something blue
Powder petals scattered down an aisle simply meant for you
As turquoise tears stream down your face happy for this life
My heart races with electric as you stand to become my wife
