Something About Me
Open your eyes in my ordinary world
Have mother and sisters to tell my words
Can be easy to get along with wherever I go
But you can’t drag me to parties, hear me say “No”.
Bit prissy and formal when meeting the crowd
But when I get close to someone, I love to be loud
Everybody thinks I’m prim inside the school
Outside my box is person who loves to be cool
I can be a friend, a lover or your nightmare perhaps
Never try to wear something thick on my face that flaps
Nobody knows there were plenty of treasures I already found
But I choose to keep my feet holy on the ground
What people see is not almost accurate as they thought
They didn’t know that I tasted struggles – I do fought!
A little poem something about me can let you think
I am beautiful enough like diamonds at night that blink
