Someone Is There
Overhead
clouds
threaten
rain
A shadow before my eyes
Someone is there
Afternoon showers
drown out thought and pain
In the heart of
the metropolis
Ghostly trees drip drip drip onto the pavement
Someone is there
Near the large trees
steps are being taken
One more day
of clouds and weariness
As the storm
ends
Ther's no doubt
That in the shadowy
heart of the city
Someone is there
