Someone
Sometimes it’s so hard to see
The light at the end of the tunnel!
The struggle seems so long....
The problem so great...
The wound so deep....
The cross so heavy
And you’re about to go down....
Down....
Where there is no light
No consciousness
Just dark nothingness!
Then, miraculously...unexpectedly...mercifully
A sliver of light breaks through
Someone smiles
Someone embraces
Someone remembers
Someone calls
Someone whispers
Someone prays
And SOMEONE intervenes
And reaches out
The darkness recedes
And you are bathed in heavenly light
And that SOMEONE...
That SOMEONE...
Is.........
GOD.
