Some May Say

Some may say we were born just to waste away, Or that life is only about pursuing happiness, But that is not what I see. It's about finding conversation with strangers, and keeping silent in a crowd of familiar faces. Discovering something new, or rehashing over the old. Seeing who you were, and what you are now. Seeing what you could have changed, and living with the choices you made. To relive those summer days, when you would go out and play. To live through crippling depression, that would hit you every day. To think love is a lasting thing, but learn that it is a fleeting thing. To see the birth of those you will come to love, and the death of those you have always loved. To travel and see what this world has hidden, and to sit in your room all day, and stay home. To witness the beauty that humanity can offer, and to see the ugliness that it cannot hide. For every empty hour of grief, There is one filled with new found belief.

I see you haven't been here for a while, Angel, and you may not see this but I just wanted to say that I think this poem is spot on and full of truth.
