Solo

pupa taps a pulse in humid mounds. chaste cicada quivers in the ground. sighed fermata thrills the earthen chambers. bare cicada fancies in the strain. lewd sonata lulls the velvet void. sole cicada chafes his greenest feign. baffled hall replies with no applause.

The image and sound in this one is so complex my poor old brain can't quite figure it out. If you have the time, please give me a clue. "The baffled hall" is where I'm at. This is , by no means, a put-down. Love, daver

Well constructed and expressed... your 10-syllable phrasing is well sustained, leaning toward a delightful flow when read aloud. BRAVO Andrew! Best wishes, Keith (PS a belated welcome to the Soup!)
