Solitude

Solitude poem Lionel Derbyshire Silently the words Tell me something What am I feeling No yelling .. only Picture's rolling by A mute is broken And thoughts Are rolling in Of broken times. New days are comin .. With new cravings. Gone by midnight's Are replaced by That awful creepy sleep Feared and loathed. Then the little voice speaks Tommorow is another day. Talk in solitude With great exclamations To feel distinctively The warm up In sounds of silence This comfort of solitude. Silhouettes, blending and beating Rhyming right .. Clickety click .. click Clickety clack .. clack Clickety tick .. tick. Chat chat The cricket Sing song of mumble Hum alone. Must not be boring And shine like Twinkle twinkle Too whoo wee doo Too whoo wee doo Voices in harmony The midnight owl Strumming inside .. Hateful phone ringing .. Grumble .. Miserable log. " Hope nobody died. " Solitude gone .. Was good to be cleft And left alone.
