Solitude
I live inside a shell
A safe and warm Hell
Snoozing beneath a rock
Riding around the clock
Loving those around
Always homeward bound
Admiring from a distance
Through technology, for instance
I loath much interaction
From the norm, I'll take a fraction
Just a dot, not a lot
Here and there, hits the spot
Hesitant making friends
My rules, they may bend
I need things just like so
But can't pronounce n.o.
I maintain a mediocre routine
Not quite willing to wean
Will not voice my thoughts
Though my stubbornness, taut
Wishing they would leave
So I might relax and breathe
