Solitude

Solitude (A Quatern, 20140805) The solitude weighed heavily, Most especially late at night, When I had no one close to me-- Meaning no one to hold me tight. Loneliness sired desperation. The solitude weighed heavily Enough to sire inspiration; Giving birth to my poetry. In time I made a family (Both positive and negative). The solitude weighed heavily, In the past where I sometimes live. I got older; life moved along. Today I still write poetry, And compose lyrics for each song. The solitude weighed heavily.
