Solace in Darkness

My heart was once blackened with each droplet of lies left by him, Now it hangs iridescently by a tree, Wrung out are the bloodshot tinted tears, Leaving me to rest in the velvet dark, As his crimson stained memory drips into oblivion.

Sis! Good to see you post here, i see your take on “ bloodshot” keiths prompt? Btw please do ask sara i am hosting on island this week. Hope to see you both write for my prompt. I loved the rhymes here and this one hits home too! “As his crimson stained memory drips into oblivion.“how creative is the way you weave emotions. Sending you light.

Yes, indeed it was for Keith's prompt "Bloodshot". The prompt led me to a direction that I don't normally write. I didn't realise that you were hosting this weeks prompt. Sara and I will surely write to it. Thank you for your support and lovely words of encouragement as always sis.
