Softly We Ascend

We slunk into this atmosphere of peace, Content to say the love that we possess Is one that keeps absorbing one's caress Like nothing on this earth I could release. My soul is so enchanted by this cloud It turns the utmost joy to unexplained, Creating what it does to make me proud Is keeping the elusiveness maintained. We float upon crescendos making waves, And from that source the undulating gift Of mutual is by chance the ones we lift, Are fortifying souls whose life it saves. We tease the soft envisage love has sighed, It recreates what blessings we have made Which rides upon the whitest serenade; Reminding us that we've already died.
