Social Medal
Seeking social status by appointing yourself judge
of other peoples situations yet not knowing much
asserting authority from which you don’t budge
to appear important though you’re out of touch
You want them to view you as talented and clever
trying to win approval by showing you are better,
highlighting what you do to those mentally lesser,
your ideas are correct you’re the leader forever
Desperate for the influence found in those adored
the one saving grace who is worthy of award
the one they look up to so they feel assured
all you’ll ever be is socially ignored
People don’t need someone who hasn’t got a clue
sticking their nose in to decide what to do
disrespectful of boundaries forcing your view
even though the outcome will not impact you
Thinking you’ll be liked because you’re the best,
high up looking down on all of the rest,
your know-it-all attitude causes a stress,
they’ll only like you if you get involved less
Wanting to win people over like this,
shows us your social skills are a miss,
friends who lead others are not the wish,
you’re behaving like a person to ditch
Trying to show off and be in control
what isn’t your problem or yours to resolve
you shouldn’t do that when you’re not involved
friends do not meddle bronze silver or gold
