So Says the Winged Devil
"Shadows engulf me, and drag me to my realm of darkness,
Where I can cackle at misery, pain, and distress,
Where never existing is hope, love, or happiness
Where there is room only for my whims and my madness.
Go forth and find for me, a naïve, innocent child:
Foolish enough to think that the shadows hide a smile,
One whose sweet, sweet ignorance will last quite a while,
For they know not that grave peril and danger run wild.
Find this child for me, I shall make him my next victim,
And inflict upon him harm, insanity, and sin
I will colour his white heart crimson madness so grim
That his pure soul loose its glow, and forever be dim."
So says the winged devil, with a smirk on his face.
