So Far So Good
It's one o'clock in the morning
he usually goes to bed
while I'm up mourning
the absence of company instead
maybe he's finally realizing
that it's overrated
and to ensure our hours are equalizing
sleeping is generated
games not played though seemingly
time spent in conjunction
I'm not Eve manipulating she merely
wants not to malfunction
this is glorious
we're not concerned with tomorrow
sugar with snips are notorious
the cliché I'll somewhat borrow
he's still awake
I can't believe it
I'm waiting for the earth to quake
bliss flickers for not to split
