Snowdrift Dreams

Shivering moonbeams twinkle, whispered snowflakes flutter in their light Hand in hand we stroll along flurried wishes, leaving footprints of desire I wrap you in my arms as ice crystals sparkle on your lashes and I see a warm spring day reflecting in your eyes Frosted breezes bring a chill, blustery through pine needle branches White blankets on bending silhouettes swaying to the rhythm of our hearts Still rosy cheeked smiles and scarf bundled laughter sings, echoing in snowdrift dreams of love on a cold winter’s night

Lush romantic poem, Chris. You capture the essence of winter very well w/your words. I live in Michigan, so I know a thing or two about winters. Exquisite poem though. Love always.

I cant wait..In five or six weeks time..I ll be in England....Im hoping to get those still rosy cheeks..and I dnt mind a rosy cold nose either..as long as Im in the snow...Im so looking forward to snowflakes and cold Winter temperatures...I miss them on my isle. Yes cant wait to be wrapped up in so many warm clothes..caps and scarfs..and have so much fun..laughter and all..You just painted that Winter romantic postcard..and made me think of all I mentioned above..Beautiful Winter poem..Yes.
