Snow Moon (Australian Sonnet)

She shimmers silver between thickened clouds in February winter's wind, portent She tells of snow before the season's end, whilst Pagan voices sing out loud and proud. The circle cast to manifest our rite O Mother moon in this our sacred space pray lend your power in your wise embrace O Cerridwen, the goddess of the night The moon in fullness shrouded in a mist as crystal flakes begin to flutter down and once more Earth will wear her winter's gown as moonbows form where Lord and Lady kissed. In winter's silver light, her words are clear there is so much work still to be done here.
