Snow In New York

I'm watching the snow fall through the naked leafless trees.. The fine light flakes dance their way from the sky as they fall free.. The white coating of snow blankets the roads as all begins to blend.. The quiet in the air sings slowly as does the background of sounds it sends.. The birds fly from branch to branch searching for a home for the night.. The wind begins to howl to a slight vision of distant lights.. The calm before the storm is the preview before the plot.. Wind drifts and plows are the early morning sounds we have got.. Our first snowfall of the season here in New York City.. The view from my window with snow capped buildings all makes it pretty..
