Sneaky Snakes

He had ulterior motives Unwritten tendencies A snake in the grass Not a true friend to me I was a blind man with eyes Didn't see it in front of me He slithered his way in Took her from under me I trusted a snake That bit me in the foot Let him in close That's all that it took A friends is was I thought But was a snake in disguise He tricked me it's clear But he opened my eyes For that he has helped me I'm not furious or bitter Proved she too was a snake That also could slither Written 2-13-19
