Sneaky Snakes
He had ulterior motives
Unwritten tendencies
A snake in the grass
Not a true friend to me
I was a blind man with eyes
Didn't see it in front of me
He slithered his way in
Took her from under me
I trusted a snake
That bit me in the foot
Let him in close
That's all that it took
A friends is was I thought
But was a snake in disguise
He tricked me it's clear
But he opened my eyes
For that he has helped me
I'm not furious or bitter
Proved she too was a snake
That also could slither
