Smitten
Trembles shook my entire body
when my eyes set up on your face
Your exquisite chiseled features
had me riveted it in my place
Black jeans, white shirt, tan skin
emphasized your physical grace
Your smile filled my stomach with butterflies
as my pulse did a frantic race
I felt a blush rising on my cheeks
as you purposefully entered into my space
A warm hello along with the touch of your hand
so bewildered me I had to brace
As I wobbled, the course of history changed
when you caught me in your embrace
