Smiles Across Your Face
Droplets dew settle sweet
Upon flower tops gentle sway
Anticipate, a subtle darkness gone
Among the woodland, and the blade
Cricket violins slip softly through
Unto, chirps of symphony soon to dissipate
And natures music upon a front porch picture, paints
As a couple swings in silhouettes and out of a morning's grace
Then, the sky’s red carpet mistress
Stars once again in her own Broadway play
As she bows to eve with cheeks of rosy beams
To finally announce, grandeur of the coming day
But, a greater anticipation sooner waits
Than the dawn yonder, that heaven breaks
As the sunrise pales to what's evermore becoming brighter
A warming summer smile, to elicit across your face
