Small Nuances
Used to think love was just for the young
Nay nay love never really ends
It's a built in response to the opposite sex
To great heights you still can ascend
We must be aware how easy love dies
Needs nurturing every single day
It can be as simple as a touch of the hand
Or the tender soft words that you say
Sometimes a caress of a loved one's hair
A cuddle when someone is sad
It needn't always be passionate love play
Small nuances and love can be had
Small things can actually go unnoticed
But if it's an enduring attraction
They mean more than all the time worn phrases
Uttered in the heat of passion
