Slipped On a Tear
This song has a Country Kind-a tune
When she went and left me, I didn't know what to do
she left me here crying in my beer
Then you came along, and my loneliness was gone
It's like that crazy witch was never here
I know its only been, like and hour
Since she left, 'till the time you came along
But hours, can feel like forever
I think I heard that somewhere in a song
chorus
But, I have to admit, feeling hopeless
The sadness in my heart would last awhile
I thought I'd never see, there was Happiness for me
'Till I slipped on a tear drop----and landed on a smile
Baby you're the reason, that my cheeks ache
and dimples appear to leave a trace
The tears are all but gone, and my life is move'in on
when you sport that lovely smile, on your face
chorus
But, I have to admit, feeling hopeless
The sadness in my heart would last awhile
I thought I'd never see, there was Happiness for me
'Till I slipped on a tear drop----and landed on a smile
Heeeeeeyhaaaaa
