Slightly Deceiving
Your silent in the morning
another day has passed with no
Meaning it's slightly deceiving
how you look through me to
See the sky fading to black
While the weeping willow smiles
and the song bird mute
Silence showing you everything
I feel without conviction
YOU ARE GONE
From the furthest part of you
I know so well
Now your not sure that
the winding path chosen
is the right way of finding
your pretty little heart
Is it me, is it you
It's getting harder to tell
the truth that lies gently behind
you and me and me or you
tears left your innocence
Locked up in a little box
with your drive anxious thoughts
while leaving a shred of dignity
though small as it may seem
Where's the lust as we grow further apart
