Slice of Urban Life
Crowds in Times Square
Tourists blend with locals
and hit the theatre district
hard
Keep moving along with the
throng
or be trampled by their
multitude of feet
A painted nude woman
approaches
Such painted nudists
are controversial
She asks for money
we walking and
pay her no never mind
The marquees glow
in early evening
The area is closed to
autos
A different type of traffic in
this beating heart of the city exists
blasts of fantasy on stages
And crowds thrill
Adults, children,
seniors, teenagers
are all going somewhere
The metropolitan evening show
is about to begin
