Sleep

Drifting....ever so slowly To sleep...I desperately need. My head is one With my pillow.... Resting the brain...it's dire need. With images of yesterday And days to come, Abstract thoughts and wonders.... I wonder....where they're from. It is dream land I am yearning. It's all I really need. Escape to unreality... A dream...inside... A dream.

One can surely relate to this write my friend. Sometimes it may take a bit to unwind in order to achieve that wonderful escape to dreamland.. When, all else fails, one can always meditate. Thank you for sharing the read. Many Blessings, Always, Adell

Hi Adell. Thank you so much for posting your comment. I've only posted a few poems and I haven't been on this site for a half year. First time back in a while. I read some of your poems and really enjoyed them. I've learned that the opening part of the poem is the most important part. Getting the reader's attention is crucial.....and you do that so well. Keep up the great work. And thanks again for reading my poems.

Good morning Lyric Man. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it very much. It's free to enter contests? Or do I have to be a platinum member? If so does it cost anything? I'm unemployed at the present time. Talk to you soon... Thanks again.
