Sleep
Contest Entry
Whom did you dream of in your rare sleep?
Twas not I wrapped in your arms for sleep.
Fate, miles, and vows keep us apart
When love returns and torments your sleep.
Whom did you romp with this night last?
Twas not I for my body does abhor sleep.
Send your love to me on arrows swift
At night my heart grieves to restore sleep
To cover distance, fate and time
Love returns, I beg more sleep.
