Sixth Place Win
Never in my life would I ever dream,
such an honor of sixth place win.
All of my emotions began to scream,
abruptly leaping out of my skin.
First time posting a write I felt,
was worth the effort that I made.
Inside I could feel my heart melt,
for this write, I was to get paid.
The monies meant nothing to me,
merely green paper to be spent.
Finally someone else did agree,
that I had some laudable content.
Yearn to prevail is in us all,
young or old, there is no conflict.
Although we sometimes take a fall,
successfulness does not restrict.
