Sitting To Embrace Life

Time can end my human presence By mocking life's mortality. His ferocious hand is a thief, That I look for eternity . For such dominance lays me bare Like a knife ready to lunge pain- Choke my thirst, devour me there A raging river, without a damn. Nature sits alone ; she brings me joy While ticks of fast clock snuffs fine things- Yet I'll fly on through season's rides, Before time rakes all of love's wings.
