Sitting In My Garden

My chair it sits amongst the flowers Allowing me some stolen hours The birdsong echoes in the trees The scent of flowers in the breeze Only a rainbow can compare With all the colours that they share Whilst the music of the waterfall Sends distant harmony over all Creating a garden from the soil So loving are the hands that toil

Vera, this is a beautiful write. All the best to you and Peter. I am a gardener who is itching to get out there. I am on spring break this week, and love it that my 9 day vacation started last night, and the best news - it is supposed to be 50 and 60 degrees here this next week! Hallelujah! My cup runneth over with joy!

Hi Paul, how lovely to hear from you, yes I am keeping pretty well, don't like the getting old part though, thank you so much for this lovely comment, I actually enjoyed writing that poem, trouble is, it does take me a while to finish a poem, but I get there in the end, hope you are well, regards to the wife and both of you take care......Vera
