Sittin By the Fire

As the flames flicker, I am no longer weaker. Once I thought you were the one, But towards the end where was the fun? Was it for you, When I said "I love you too". Or was it a joke, With only a gental poke. Did you mean to go this far? To shatter my heart? But as i sit by this fire, I am now inspired. To keep the dreams I had, And slowly push the voices just a tad. So know you no longer have control over me, And know that I am free. You once bound me to lies and deciet, The past I can now defeat.
