If you catch the Christmas spirit,
spirit it away somewhere,
where there will be loved one's near it -
it will find my Sweetheart there!
There! Against the Northern light,
light as air, in reindeer blow
Blow now too, with all your might,
might it help them through the snow
Snowflakes, as they fall to land,
land beneath each cloven hoof
Hoof prints, left where reindeer stand,
stand out when they go, as proof
(proof that Santa's sleigh is near!)
Near the fire, the cider warms
Warms me most to have you here
Here - let's toast to winter storms!
