Since He Was Deceased
Since He Was Deceased
My heart has been broken so many times
Missed haring church bells and their chimes
Candles went out when the wind did blow
Down the aisle in dark never got to go.
Instead of reading each of my vows out loud
Was trampled by congregation in a crowd
When we were suppose to present the ring
My parents with them they forgot to bring.
What a wonderful wedding it may have been
Part of the problem was forgot to put me in
Then my over-taxed brain I tried to relax
Found that license was eaten up by the fax.
You can only marry me under one condition
Provide someone with enough ammunition
To blow brains out of either preacher or priest
And stop service because he is deceased.
