Simple Pleasures
There’s nothing complicated
About man’s simple pleasures
Each one is calibrated
To enrich each days leisure
We indulge in the chewing
Of meaty grub that we grilled
Then wash it down with brewing
The homemade beer that’s best chilled
And when amongst our good friends
We do enjoy some boasting
About daily odds and ends
That’s topped off with more toasting
A fun day includes jesting
Because laughs make us happy
And when done there is resting
Accomplished with a nap(py)
