Simple Pleasures
A walk in the park on a bright autumn day, a child on a swing set who just
happens to glance your way.
A bowl full of ice cream, a sunset by the bay, these are life's simple pleasure that
we enjoy each day.
A cry from a baby, a bark from a dog, or a whisper from the bird who just happens
to pass along.
Standing still for just a moment to even remember your alive, is a simple
pleasure you can achieve even right now, while reading this with a smile.
In all we are, and in all we do we have much more than most people do.
We have our freedom, we have our lives, and we have the gift that simple
pleasures are not millions or houses that one must buy.
So the next time you want that diamond or that jag you just can't wait.Just
remember there are children who would love to just run and play.
So, smile for those who need it. Cry for those that can't and at the end of it be
grateful you had your simple pleasure and it was such ah blast.
