When threads of life's misfortune
burdens you with stress in your day
allow yourself to find a safe refuge
where you can cast them all away
Pretend you are a carefree dove
soaring the sky on silvered wings
then in your most beautiful voice
take a deep breath and then sing
Happiness need never be far away
If you give yourself half a chance
let trouble stop weighing you down
Just turn on the music and dance
Take a moment and close your eyes
Be that dove at least once every day
Journey to your private, special place
where you can escape by flying away
