Silver Lake

SILVER LAKE If I could read your mind, that silver lake, where none have gone before, nor shall again, that never ending dream you weave and make from threads of love like love has never been; what manner of a mortal I would be to swim there in your lake, where you are deep, and blessed with love as if Penelope, is born again in you, out of a sleep forever faithful, to someone you'd choose, to love again, but whom you have not met, and I would be Ulysses, yours to lose but find again in love we can't forget. I'd love you so, my dream and silver lake and on your mind I'd raise the only wake.
