Silver Arrow
Vi's faded jeans
folded for another occasion.
Their distinction -
a silver arrow on main pocket
Friends would ask of
its significance,
but Vi became vague
and slowly indistinct
It was large, so prominent...
A silver arrow pointing down
with determination
to the reddish Texas earth
