Silent War

There is a cold war waging deep inside of me. What is thought, what is read. Within my heart, within my head. Waiting, debating, the moment to flee. Each a sight not yet to see. For both want to be silent, both want to be lead. Raging, unchained chaos with no surrender to meet. Battles fought in the eyes of unspoken enemies refusing defeat. So tragic the day and night becomes- when memories flash of needless hate. Drawing the line in the sand, sanity succumbs. Never ending torture arrives breaking the bones of fate. Tainting, fainting, the depths of my soul. A martyr to murder by the blackest hole. Deep, deeper, as i drown within, a sea of red comes rushing in. Anchoring the mania lost in my mind. Losing, choosing to numb my soul to a world cold, cruel and unkind.
