Silent War

I hear it all Simply falling away Mind’s a silent war With time never a yesterday Never maturing but grows Understanding within capacity Never-ending but flows Only moments within proximity I see as I would the blind For the sighted world I fail to see Yet I am never once to find A truer self where one can never be Might you define truth? Might one plausibly exist? Is alone enough to be aloof? When did everyone you enlist? It will rise, it will fall Hardly in dear Heaven’s way It all began... this silent war Have you that every yesterday?
