Silent Struggles
In silence, I scream, unheard cries,
Lost in a world of shallow lies.
"It's not a big deal," they casually say,
While I'm drowning, night and day.
Each piece of me, I'm giving away,
Yet they don't see the price I pay.
"I'll get through it," they gently coo,
But the battle within, only I knew.
A prisoner of my own mind, I fight,
Yearning for freedom, for the light.
I'm dying inside, my spirit cries,
Yet, somehow, hope never dies.
In the depths of despair, a flickering flame,
A whisper of strength, a familiar name.
I hold on tight to that glimmering thread,
Believing one day, I'll mend what's shred.
For even in darkness, there's a ray,
A chance for a brighter, happier day.
I cling to hope, despite the pain,
Hoping that someday, I'll break the chain.
