Silent Red Rose

“Silent Red Rose” She's silent... just a thought of what's to come. As the morning sunlight shines and warms her sleeping body, she stretches her arms, to embrace the coming of a new day. The air... moistened, by the dew of effervescent night, bathing her... in a glistening shower of quenching life. Sparrows and butterflies, eagerly awaiting... as she lifts her head up to the sky, breathing... in the air, of peace and quiet tranquility. The songs... of crickets, and fluttering hummingbird wings, echoing... on the breeze, as she opens her eyes to new sunrise. Feeling... the glory in natures presence, she peels away outer shells of seclusion, blinding... all things, with her deep untamed inner beauty. In sudden waves... of ecstasy, she bursts forth with brand new life, serenity beyond imagination. Vibrant... red lips kiss the sky, soft skin caresses my soul, her fragrance... sedates, even the wildest of nature's beasts. Her presence... warms my heart, day, after day, after day, repeating... the moments of rapture for all to see. As with all life, the time... had come for her soul to rest, vibrant colors...replace, as she prepares for eternal sleep, head hangs low with exhausted breath. Tears... from clouds, surrender as she withers away, and falls... back, to the arms of heavenly angels. A gift... to the eyes, of the ones that were left behind, leaving reminders... of a life to behold, buds of new hope to enchant our lives. A perfumed breeze blows, as her spirit now goes, to the heavens so high above... she sent all her love, on the wings of a dove, from the petals of a silent red rose. Copyright 2011 Jason Palm

Thank you very much! I enjoy knowing that there are people who take a liking to what I write. Some of my writings are rather odd at best but some do touch the imaginations of the willing.
