Silent Joy

We two, strolling at night in the rain, Pitter-patter of each heartbeat Snuggled, with one umbrella. Streetlights line the sidewalk. Reds, yellows, and blues Painting the road. Reflecting. Silent Joy. Written for Poetry Soup Member Contest: POETIC ART Sponsor Linda-Marie The Sweetheart of P.S.
