Silence Says a Thousand Words

Silence says a thousand words about joys that filled our past and fair youth upon my lips that once owned your stolen kiss Can you hear me ? Oh those lips that touched my own like a first petal in bloom Floral accents 've been long gone since that pale October moon Silence says a thousand words about joys that filled our past and fair youth upon my lips that once owned your stolen kiss Can you hear me ? There's a place you can return to If your seamless thoughts turn blue You will never wander lonely My perfume will linger through Once again we'll find sweet laughter It's lost echo in the sand Once again I'll read your love note that lies crumpled in my hand. Silence says a thousand words about joys that filled our past and fair youth upon my lips that once owned your stolen kiss Can you hear me ?

so beautiful, Charma and the way your repeated the principal lines, which helps us interpret the title. This is so lyrical. I see how you put it as a lyrical poem. Thanks for what you said on my poem about religion. You are a dear.

Spoken words are sometimes not enough to express what we truly feel and mean. Silence speaks louder than words! Lovely romantic lyrics! [This reminds me of my song "Words are not enough" sung by Tiziana Calleja.] ~~ paul

The thousand words of silence converge on the deep reflection of the times we treasure from moments lived and shared...my first thought after reading your poem
