Shredding the Waves
Shining amongst the golden sand,
Was the gleaming sun, ever so grand,
The tiny town was totally thrilled,
And all their excitement could not be killed.
The locals gathered around,
And all seemed to be astound,
As they watched, the vast waves thrived,
Celebrating the competition that's finally arrived.
Jesse, a young Aussie boy,
Who was riled up with complete joy,
Rode along the giant, roaring waves,
And was seen by many faces incredibly amazed.
As he gracefully surfed, he felt the rhythm,
Amusement and pleasure flowing within him,
As everyone watched his breathtaking ride,
They all felt cheerful and packed with pride.
As the moon's cool glimmer reflected on the moss,
They united as one underneath the Southern Cross,
All Aussies chanting loudly and carefree,
But chanting the loudest was the youthful champion, Jesse.
